Summer 2025
I haven’t posted any news for some time, so here it goes. Two books have come out so far in 2025, ‘Ride into Hell’ and ‘Brimley, TX- Lies, Lust, Corruption, Murder’. Both books are part of the ‘Texas Jack’ western series.
In other book news, the third book in the ‘Lizard Key’ series, ‘The Golden Disc of the Mayans’ is completed and will be available soon. This is the third book following the adventures of the modern-day pirate, Nick Roberts. The second book in that series, ‘Black Bart’s Treasure’ is now back and available on Amazon as a second edition with a new cover. Originally, the book was self-published before it was picked up by a publisher. I went through it and made some corrections/changes, a new cover was produced, and the book is now released.
I am currently working on a new ‘Victor Grant, Private Investigator’ book. It takes place in 1937, starting in San Francisco, then a voyage to Hawaii and back to San Francisco… of course, they’ll be murders along the way. The title will be ‘Dragon Eyes’ and while the book is done, the editing is not complete. I’m sure it will be ready within the next month. A new western is in the works as well. No title yet but it takes place in 1877 Montana.
In other news, I am currently at my home in Star, ID, and just returned from a camping trip to Donnelly, ID. Did some fishing at a location about two hours drive north of McCall. Rough road getting there but well worth it. Lots of big fat rainbows.
We travelled to the Philippines and Indonesia in the fall of 2024. We stayed in small villages in some reasonably remote areas. Did a lot of SCUBA diving. It’s always very important to have good insurance when you go to these remote locations and make sure you check on what preventive measures you might need to take for things like malaria, etc. There were NO MEDICAL FACILITIES where we were… no drug stores, no doctors, no hospitals. We always bring emergency meds and are up to date on vaccines required in these areas. Fortunately, we had no problems. I’ll get around to posting some pictures soon.
The next adventure will be South America. Equador, Galapagos and Peru.
